Tell me what's on your list and roughly when you need it done.
I confirm availability, timing, and cost — no surprises before it starts.
It gets done, you get an update, and one more thing is off your plate.
MomHELP time is used for work we're actively doing for you — hands-on help, research, errands, calls, or coordination. Getting to you is on us, free within 10 miles of Natick. Once we're working, driving between stops (the store, the post office, back to you) is part of the job — billed as service time, with mileage reimbursed.
Your Support Package is a bank of MomHELP service time, not a set number of appointments. Each work session has a one-hour minimum; after the first hour, time is tracked in 15-minute increments. Use your service hours for whatever's on your list — within the services we offer and can safely and lawfully provide.
Purchases made on your behalf are charged at actual cost — we never mark them up. Anything up to $50 needs no extra approval; above that, we'll check with you first unless you've set a different limit for the job.
Need help while you're out? With your permission, MomHELP can work in your home when you're not there. We prefer temporary access codes when available, but any keys, codes, or security information you provide will be handled carefully and used only for the work you've authorized. Your safety and ours come first, so we may decline to enter or leave a property if conditions appear unsafe.
We're happy to work in homes with pets. Just let us know in advance about any animals that'll be around, and flag any known behavioral or safety concerns. Animals that could interfere with the work or pose a risk should be secured before we arrive — we may decline to enter, pause, or leave if something doesn't feel safe.
We're glad to work in homes with kids or other family members around. Unless we've specifically agreed to it in advance, MomHELP doesn't provide childcare, babysitting, or supervision — if someone needs care while we're there, please make sure another caregiver is present.
If we believe someone (or your property) is having an emergency, we'll call 911 first — before trying to reach you — and then reach you, and your emergency contact if you've given us one, once emergency services are on the way. We're not medical professionals, so we can't assess or treat, but we'll get help fast.
Anything we come across while working for you — mail on the counter, a conversation in the background — stays private. We only share what's reasonably necessary to get your task done (like giving a plumber your address), never for marketing, and never your story or photo without asking first.
If your task requires us to wait — on hold, in line, for a delivery, service provider, appointment, or something else — that time counts as regular MomHELP service time. If we're free to leave and pause the task, we'll stop the clock until work resumes. And if there's something else on your list we can tackle while we wait, even better — you'll never be charged twice for the same time.
We're happy to connect you directly with a trusted independent provider at no charge, or MomHELP can coordinate everything for you at our regular hourly rate. Provider charges are separate.
This page covers the basics. The full policies — including refunds, cancellations, and what MomHELP can't help with — are in our Service Terms.
